Surfcam, Inc is pleased to announce the release of Surfcam Part Modeler 2014 R2. This new release introduces additional features and improvements driven by Part Modeler customers around the world, further enhancing its ability to bring together multiple CAD formats and prepare design models for manufacture.
Part Modeler has impressed SURFCAM customers who are using this easy-to-use solid modeling solution in their shop.
Albert Norman of Valley Fabrication in Salinas, California was delighted to learn how quickly he was able to pick up and learn Part Modeler. “Part Modeler is the software tool I use when receiving CAD models from our engineering department”, says Norman. “It gives me the flexibility to import most any CAD format which is necessary when receiving part models I need to manipulate for our manufacturing processes. I don’t have to rely on our engineers to make the changes we need to make for the shop floor. The benefit as a machine shop manager to quickly and easily create and manipulate design right on the shop floor is priceless. I am looking forward to installing this new release”.
