Dr. Henrik Weimer is the Director of Digital Engineering at Airbus, leading the digital transformation of engineering processes across the company. With over 25 years of experience in aerospace and digital innovation, he specializes in large-scale digital transformations, PLM solutions, and agile leadership of global teams. Among his other engagements, he serves as the chairman of the board of the prostep ivip association and is a co-founder of the Aerospace & Defense PLM Action Group.
Henrik has over 25 years of industry experience related to PLM and business process management. Before joining Airbus in 2002, he was active in the automotive industry in Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rice University.
