Dr. Yousef Hooshmand, PLM Architect & Lead for the Modernization of the PLM Landscape, NIO
Dr. Yousef Hooshmand has more than 14 years of experience in various roles in the PLM area. However, his main focus has been on the holistic transformation of the PLM landscape, encompassing the entire value chain from both a business process and a technological perspective.
Yousef’s objective has been to enable organizations to tackle emerging business challenges more efficiently. Confronted with the technical restrictions and monolithic nature of the existing PLM implementations, he has designed and led the development of federated PLM landscapes throughout his career.
Yousef has published the results of his works in the PLM area and Systems Engineering in several publications. His recent publication, “From a monolithic PLM landscape to a federated domain and data mesh,” summarizes his contributions at Mercedes-Benz AG and serves as the foundation for his endeavors at NIO.
