Delcam Appoints New Sales Partner in Greece
Delcam has appointed a new company, Delcam Hellas, as its representative in Greece. Delcam Hellas, which is located in Peiraias, the main industrial area of Athens, was founded by George Bizas, who spent many years working in the International Support Group at Delcam's Birmingham headquarters before returning to his native country. The formal launch of the new company took place in January with a seminar for existing and prospective customers, plus a number of engineering journalists.
The latest appointment brings to 60 the number of countries in which Delcam has representation. In total, the company now has over 250 sales offices, including subsidiary companies, joint ventures and resellers.
Delcam anticipates that the Greek market will offer opportunities in its traditional toolmaking markets and in industries new to CADCAM, especially boatbuilding.
