Synopsys Joins Chip Estimate's Prime IP Partner Program
Chip Estimate Corp. announced that Synopsys has joined the Chip Estimate Prime IP Partner Program. As a Prime IP Partner, Synopsys is enabling designers to gain centralized access to information about the company's broad DesignWare® semiconductor intellectual property (IP) portfolio, at ChipEstimate.comT. Synopsys, a provider of connectivity IP, offers very comprehensive IP solutions consisting of synthesizable digital controllers, mixed-signal PHY IP and verification IP for popular protocols such as USB, PCI Express, DDR, SATA and Ethernet. The broad, silicon-proven IP portfolio, combined with comprehensive technical support, helps enable designers to accelerate time-to-market and reduce integration risk for system-on-chip (SoC) designs.
ChipEstimate.com was launched in 2005 to provide comprehensive chip planning capabilities to the electronics and semiconductor design communities. In addition to the comprehensive IP catalog, designers can use the InCyteT software available through the ChipEstimate.com website to plan their next chip designs and explore die size, power, leakage and cost tradeoffs. Through the portal, designers may now search for Synopsys' comprehensive DesignWare IP portfolio and consider it in chip estimations.
