Technia Signs a Contract for a Strategic PLM Project with Telenor Cinclus
Technia has signed an agreement with Telenor Cinclus in Norway concerning a delivery of a PLM-solution based on the PLM system ENOVIA MatrixOne from Dassault Systèmes . With this order Technia continues to expand its leadership in Product Lifecycle Management for the HighTech industry.
Telenor Cinclus is a leader in next generation AMR (Automatic Meter Reading). Meter reading is important for all energy companies because they depend on information on the consumption of the individual end customer. The end customer no longer has to read and submit the meter data and it opens up for new functionality for the energy companies. Telenor Cinclus Technology represents a modern and forward-looking concept for two-way, automatic meter reading. Based on GPRS technology, Telenor Cinclus has developed a complete solution, dimensioned for large volumes. Alternative communication technologies such as fixed network, power line and broadband can also be used.
With the help of Technia and ENOVIA MatrixOne, Telenor Cinclus wants to establish a collaboration platform where the company's product-related information is put into a single place in order for it to be used across the organization, from research and development to production of their AMR offering. The solutions will help Telenor Cinclus to faster respond to customer demands, speed up the development processes, enabling outsourcing and collaboration in the extended value chain, speed new product launches and secure environmental regulatory compliance.
