KOMPAS-3D V9 New Version Gained a Great Respect at International Fair

ASCON Group demonstrated the newest version of its Mechanical CAD solution - KOMPAS-3D V9 at EuroMold 2007, one of the biggest World Fairs for moldmaking, tooling, design and application development.

ASCON presented at their booth in Hall 6.0 Stand B50 and also as co-exhibitors at collective stand of CAD.DE, one of the most popular German CAD community. Both stands had a high attendance: KOMPAS solutions were demonstrated for industrial enterprises specialists, IT experts, design and construction chiefs and journalists from all over the world. All the rich feature set of the classical 3D Solid Parametric Modeler, as well as extended line of add-ons and specialized applications to KOMPAS-3D V9 were presented on demo PCs. Visitors were especially attracted by the latest novelty - 3D Monitor demonstrating volumetric KOMPAS CAD models. The 3D Monitor was provided by ASCON partner - 3D Spatial View company.

During the intensive Fair period Maxim Bogdanov, Chief Marketing Officer of ASCON, hold a speech at Design and Engineering Forum. Presentation "KOMPAS-3D at a first glance" came up for a spirited discussion at the international conference, where software and hardware producers, engineers and industrial designers presented their issues and results of research.

Visitors of EuroMold and Design and Engineering Forum from Germany, Switzerland, England, India, China and many others countries highly appreciated advantages of KOMPAS Solution and a lot of perspective new business contacts and meetings were held. Particular interested in a new CAD system were mechanical engineering students and representatives of Technical Universities. "I've already heard about KOMPAS-3D from one of my friends and it was interesting for me to test it. I will try it at home more detailed, but at first sight I can say, that there are all the main features for mechanical design and the interface of solution is very pictorial - it took just a little time to be accustomed to it" - commented a student from University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt am Main.
