Sescoi Brings WorkNC G3 and WorkPLAN Enterprise to Autosport International

Sescoi will be exhibiting its CAM/CAD software WorkNC G3, its job management package MyWorkPLAN, and its new ERP system WorkPLAN Enterprise at the Autosport International exhibition from 10th to 13th January 2008, at the Birmingham NEC on stand E651.

WorkNC is used in the motorsport industry by Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs to help them respond to the changing demands inherent within the sector. The software's intelligent machining technology, automated toolpaths and short calculation times make it possible to achieve safe and efficient cutterpaths with the minimum of effort, crucial factors for success in this industry.

WorkNC G3 is the third generation of Sescoi's software and features a single ergonomic interface which combines design, analysis, programming and verification into one environment. Designed with ease of use in mind the new software has a short learning curve thanks to its tree structure, easy to interpret icons and single screen intuitive graphics. New algorithms in WorkNC G3 have added to the fluidity of its toolpaths, enhancing high speed machining through trochoidal movements and smooth transitions. Developments in 5-axis machining within the latest version offer new cycles for blade and impeller cutting, and more options for Auto 5, Sescoi's unique process for automatically converting 3-axis movements into 5-axis toolpaths.

The new WorkPLAN Enterprise ERP and the MyWorkPLAN job management systems will also be demonstrated on the stand. These systems bring capability without complexity to custom manufacturers, enabling them to produce accurate quotations, monitor sales, control production schedules and the progress of projects, keep track of costs, and ensure that quality targets are maintained. Both systems will provide live reports on key performance indicators, helping companies to maximize profits and productivity by improved utilisation of their existing resources.
