Arasan Joins Chip Estimate's Prime IP Partner Program
Arasan Chip Systems, Inc. (" Arasan ") and Chip Estimate Corp. announced that Arasan has joined the Chip Estimate Prime IP Partner Program. As a Prime IP Partner, Arasan is enabling centralized access to information about the company's intellectual property (IP) cores for the electronic design community. Arasan IP solutions provide designers with an end-to-end solution addressing applications in the computer, telecommunications, networking, consumer electronics, medical & industrial instrumentation, aerospace and automobile markets needing standards based, compliant bus interfaces/controllers and memory controllers.
Being the SDIO IP provider for numerous tier one semiconductor companies, Arasan Chip Systems is now leading the pack with a complete IP solution for the latest Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) technology - DSI, CSI, SLIMbus, D-PHY and others. MIPI will provide a path for lower cost, increased features and higher reliability in mobile markets such as mobile phones and portable media players. Arasan's portfolio of IP cores provides designers a significant advantage to completing their SoCs and getting into market quickly.
ChipEstimate.com was launched in 2005 to provide comprehensive chip planning capabilities to the electronics and semiconductor community. In addition to the comprehensive IP catalog, designers can use the InCyte software available through the website to plan their next chips and explore die size, power, leakage and cost tradeoffs. Arasan IP can now be searched for and considered in chip estimations though the portal.
