PACE and CSM Software Sign Reseller Agreement
CSM Software and PACE announced an exclusive technology tie-up. CSM will extend the reach of PACE's knowledge-based engineering (KBE) technology into the Indian aerospace and automotive markets. KBE's scope covers the wide range of activities of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and multidisciplinary design optimization. Pacelab KBE solutions have been successful for applications like aircraft and automotive preliminary design, aircraft cabin configuration, flight performance etc.
CSM will promote Pacelab products and solutions through a national sales force providing full deployment and customization services to local clients. The company is one of the principal players in the distribution of CAD/CAE and PLM solutions in India where a booming engineering sector has fuelled the demand for expert software.
PACE's flagship product Pacelab Suite is a tool that captures the complete product structure, its associated performance criteria and integrates with various simulation and manufacturing aspects of the product design. Pacelab applications are rule-driven, with rules being able to incorporate highly diverse aspects of product knowledge from geometrical properties to design strategies and analysis methods to certification requirements. This formalized knowledge is available across the enterprise for efficient reuse.
