Visiprise Expands Nonconformance Management for Manufacturers
Visiprise, Inc., a leader in integrated manufacturing execution solutions, announced the general availability of Visiprise Quality Management 2.4. This release allows manufacturers to reduce nonconformance cycle times while increasing shop throughput. Highlights of this product release include:
Complete tool nonconformance capture
Limited use disposition identification and tracking
Enhanced data segmentation
Visiprise Quality Management facilitates consistent quality management and continuous improvement processes across the manufacturer's entire value chain, reducing the cost of poor quality while producing standardized quality data. It is a closed-loop system designed for manufacturing personnel to expedite the disposition of incoming and in-process nonconforming materials. Visiprise Quality Management precisely documents the process and manages the corrective and preventive action process.
"With Visiprise Quality Management 2.4, manufacturers can now manage, document and distribute tooling jigs and fixtures used in fabrication and assembly from a single solution," said Dave Blatner, director of the A&D industry business unit with Visiprise. "Production staff will have complete visibility of limited-use tags and tool modification requirements. This will help to optimize on-time production and tooling delivery requirements."
Production and quality personnel can create a tool nonconformance record that allows for specific defective tooling, whether the tool is being fabricated on a tool order or being specifically used on production orders. Visiprise Quality Management also supports the controlled use of critical tools by documenting and enforcing limited usage for minor nonconforming tooling conditions.
