Miles Named Vice President of Marketing at Autoweb

Mimi Miles has been named vice president of marketing at Autoweb, a leading global provider of software- based data management and system interoperability solutions for the automotive, aerospace and manufacturing industries.

Miles will direct the company's strategic product marketing activities as well as lead the company's corporate communications, advertising and public relations initiatives. She also will be responsible for developing targeted- sales and lead-generation programs in North America and Europe.

Autoweb recently acquired Secorex, a consortium of four leading European software providers for the electronic exchange of technical and commercial data in September.

"Miles will provide critical marketing leadership and direction to Autoweb following our European expansion with the acquisition of Secorex," said Nino DiCosmo, president and CEO of Autoweb. "Her extensive knowledge of our industry and previous experiences in marketing enterprise software will be highly valuable as we further extend our software portfolio and global reach."

Prior to joining Autoweb, Miles led marketing communications and lead- generation programs for the Americas business unit of Paris-based Dassault Systemes, the leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) enterprise software solutions. She previously served as the marketing and communications director for Michigan-based ISD Corporation, a developer of enterprise payments software for Fortune 500 retailers.

A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., Miles also held management positions at Adobe Software, Inc. and Whittman-Hart/marchFIRST Consulting.

Miles holds a bachelor's degree in technical and professional communication from Ferris State University. Currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan-Flint, she resides in Rochester Hills.
