NVIDIA Adopts Magma's Physical Verification Products

Magma® Design Automation Inc . announced that NVIDIA has adopted Magma's QuartzT DRC, Quartz LVS and Quartz DRC Litho physical verification tools. NVIDIA selected this qualified flow to improve manufacturability and time to market for 65-nanometer (nm) graphics processing units (GPUs).

Quartz DRC, Quartz DRC Litho and Quartz LVS are the industry's first fully scalable physical verification solutions. Leveraging a unique architecture and advanced modeling capabilities, these revolutionary products allow affordable massively distributed processing of DRC and LVS comparison and integrate lithography process checks into the physical verification process. With this technology and the right number of processors, virtually any design can be physically verified in a matter of hours.
