CoCreate Forum 2007 - Japan Delivers Another Successful Event
CoCreate Software, Inc. announced the continued success of its annual forum for the greater Asia Pacific region.
Now in its 5th year, CoCreate's forum consistently draws high attendance from customers, prospects and partners across Asia Pacific. This year's event was no exception, with over 550 attendees coming to learn more about the CoCreate OneSpace Suite.
This year's event was held mid-September at the Hotel Nikko in Tokyo, Japan, where companies gathered to learn about product development leadership with CoCreate Software. Both CoCreate customers and CoCreate executives delivered presentations focused on product development and product lifecycle management (PLM) strategies throughout the full day event. Additionally, CoCreate's Chief Executive Officer, William M. Gascoigne, and Vice President of Worldwide Marketing & Product Development, Ulrich H. Mahle, shared CoCreate's vision and future direction with attendees.
Mr. Masayuki Okano, President of Okano Industrial Corporation delivered an impassioned keynote presentation to the audience. The company is renowned for the award-winning joint development of the world's thinnest syringe needle offering painless injections for patients and diabetics. He shared insight into his company's philosophy of looking for opportunities where others turn them down, and always trying to do the things that others cannot.
The audience also received case study presentations from CoCreate customers NEC AccessTechnica, Ltd., Yokogawa Electric Corporation, and Hitachi Metals, Ltd. Attendees learned how companies leverage the competitive advantage of the CoCreate OneSpace Suite, utilize 3D CAD data to gain efficiencies throughout product development, and make use of 3D CAD to support production.
These companies have realized greater efficiencies within their product development processes by choosing the CoCreate OneSpace Suite. With it, companies gain superior advantages like improved ease of use, the ability to reuse and repurpose components, and the speed to quickly realize product designs from conceptual ideas.
Mr. Tetsuo Minami, Senior Manager of Microsoft Co. Ltd., and Mr. Jun Kojima, Business Unit Director at Hewlett-Packard Japan Ltd., each delivered this year's partner presentations. Attendees were introduced to Hewlett- Packard's strategy and its full line of workstations-ideal for design engineering. Additionally, attendees learned how Microsoft's solutions can be more broadly utilized throughout manufacturing and product development companies in conjunction with the CoCreate OneSpace Suite.
