Proficiency Showcases CAD Migration Solutions at COE 2007 Industry Workshop - Aerospace & Defense
Proficiency, Inc. announced that it will be showcasing its CAD migration solutions at the COE 2007 Industry Workshop - Aerospace & Defense on October 8-9, 2007 at Hyatt Regency, Wichita, Kansas.
In booth number 15, Proficiency will demonstrate the benefits of its Collaboration GatewayT, an automated CAD interoperability solution for the intelligent conversion of data between all major CAD systems. Collaboration GatewayT enables the transfer of product knowledge; features, sketches, constraints, parameters, history, manufacturing info, metadata, assembly information and drawings in the conversion process. Proficiency offers a full range of services to support the migration translation process.
Cecil Lewis, VP North America, will participate in the roundtable discussion of legacy data requirements in session 104 on Monday Oct 8 at 4:10-5:00pm where he will join members of leading aerospace companies.
The solutions significantly reduce costs, risks, and errors while improving profitability by shortening delivery times, promoting re-use, improving quality and protecting intellectual property (IP) assets during collaboration. The solutions automate the exchange of product knowledge between product development teams regardless of the CAD system being used.
