Altair Engineering Extends Reach of HyperWorks Reseller Network in North America

Altair Engineering, Inc . announced it has extended the reach of its global HyperWorks reseller network with the signing of Engineering Sales, Inc .; ESG Engineering ; and ORSeS. Engineering Sales is based in Minneapolis, Minn.; ESG Engineering is headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz.; and ORSeS operates in Ontario, Canada. Altair's global reseller network is well-established in Asia, has a growing presence in Europe, and now has more than 50 members worldwide. The new partnerships not only expand Altair's sales reach in the United States and Canada, but, more importantly, provide a higher level of customer service for regional users.

"The HyperWorks Reseller Network has been highly successful in Asia," said James R. Scapa, president and CEO of Altair Engineering. "Now, we are bringing that same model to the United States and Canada. The arrangement is beneficial to everyone involved. Partnering with local companies responds to the increasing demand for HyperWorks products."

"Engineering Sales is excited to partner with Altair and expand its presence in the upper Midwest," said Andy Bowe, president of Engineering Sales. "By providing world-class products and service, Altair and Engineering Sales are committed to improving customers' efficiency, effectiveness and profitability."

"We are delighted with the opportunity to provide the Altair HyperWorks suite of solutions to our customers," Hari Iyer, COO of ESG Engineering. "ESG has used Altair's products for nearly 10 years, and has seen the productivity gains in our own engineering services business as a result."

"ORSeS is proud to add Altair HyperWorks to the CAE solution portfolio we offer to our Ontario customers," said Ricky de Souza, CEO of ORSeS. "Furthermore, ORSeS' management style and customer service profile aligns well with that of Altair Canada. ORSeS customer base is primarily outside of the automotive industry, where Altair has traditionally been strong. However, we were delighted to find that HyperWorks applications are well-suited for small- and medium-sized businesses as well as for larger companies - both in and out of the automotive sector."
