Engineous Software Joins Siemens UGS PLM Software Partner Program
Engineous Software announced its partnership with UGS PLM Software, a division of Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D). Engineous joins the UGS PLM Software Partner Program at the Foundation level and will develop, market and sell process integration and automation technologies that seamlessly operate with the UGS TeamcenterT PLM suite and the UGS NXT digital product development software solution.

"Our iSIGHT product line has been successfully used by hundreds of customers to integrate commercial and internal product development software programs. A tighter integration with the NX product suite will help to make those integration efforts easier than ever before. Additionally, our FIPER enterprise solution is being used by a growing number of companies to generate huge volumes of data as they search for optimal designs. These customers are asking us to provide a way to manage this voluminous simulation data in an automated fashion. The integration of FIPER with Teamcenter will solve this problem for our customers and improve their time to market."

The plans for the integration of the FIPER infrastructure with Teamcenter® will provide a unique market solution in the area of Simulation Process Management (SPM). Additionally, Engineous has already built an NX® adapter for Engineous' iSIGHT-FD product that will simplify integration of NX models with other simulation models used regularly by common customers.
UGS PLM Software provides a complete portfolio of digital product development solutions including the NX CAD, NX CAM and NX CAE applications. The company's CAE applications suite provides tools for multi-CAD geometry-based abstraction, FE modeling and automated meshing within an open simulation framework. UGS PLM Software's advanced simulation applications provide direct access to a common multi-physics environment for performing structural, durability, thermal, flow and combined flow/thermal simulations, leveraging NX Nastran as well as access to a number of leading third-party solvers such as Abaqus, Ansys, LS-Dyna and MSC.Nastran.
