Informative Graphics Upgrades Brava! Reader to View TIFF, PDF, XPS and CSF Formats; Informative Graphics Adds Support for Microsoft XPS to Its TIFF and PDF Viewer
Informative Graphics Corporation ( IGC ) announced the latest release of its free Brava!® Reader.
Brava Reader is a fast and simple viewer that provides viewing for PDF, TIFF and now XPS files in one common user interface. The same viewer also supports IGC's secure CSF format with Visual Rights® (Brava Desktop, Brava Enterprise, MYRIAD, Net-It Now and Net-It Enterprise all publish native formats to CSF).
Secure CSF files are compressed, encrypted renditions of native files that cannot be modified. Visual Rights, an integral part of the CSF format, control what can be done with the file, including print, copy, measure and file expiration. CSF maintains searchability, hyperlinks and CAD attributes and layers.
Brava Reader runs on the Windows desktop or in web browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox and Netscape. This new release adds XPS support, measurement enhancements and thumbnail view performance enhancements. Brava's XPS support is not limited to the Microsoft Vista platform, but does require Microsoft's .NET framework.
For system integrators wanting to integrate TIFF, PDF, CSF or XPS viewing into their product or solution, IGC offers an ActiveX SDK licensing option. For organizations that need full end-user support, Brava Desktop TX is a low-cost alterative (volume discounts available).
