Engineous Launches Component Central Website
Engineous Software, provider of award-winning integration, automation, and design optimization software and related services, today announced the launch of "Component Central" (http://components.engineous.com/)-a new website that distributes componentized engineering applications that are compatible with the iSIGHT-FD and FIPER products.
"Drag and drop components are the building blocks of our open process integration software," said Dr. Alex Van der Velden, VP of Engineering for Engineous Software. "We are inviting companies with leading edge simulation & optimization technology to join our component development program. Because of strong demand, we already rolled out 40 components during the beta phase of the Component Central website, including CATIA, Unigraphics, Ansys, Nastran, Abaqus, Adams, LS-DYNA, STAR-CCM+, as well as many others."
Engineous makes component development easy by providing tool kits and development support. "Using both the interface toolkit classes provided by Engineous Software, Inc., and the Java COM Bridge classes, it only took us a couple of days to create the ITI SimulationX component," said Dr. Andreas Uhlig, Managing Director of ITI . "Furthermore, our customers have been very pleased with this product."
