Enterasys Selects BigMachines Lean Front-End® to Streamline Quote and Configuration Processes

BigMachines, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand configuration and quoting software, announced today that Enterasys, a leader in network security hardware, software, and services, has selected the BigMachines CPP (Configure, Price, Propose) solution to help manage information across multiple global sales channels. Specifically, Enterasys will use BigMachines integrated with Salesforce.com and SAP to help their sales teams and channel partners generate quotes, manage product configurations, and enter orders.

Enterasys designs, deploys, supports and services integrated hardware and software solutions that intelligently sense and automatically respond to security threats - and proactively prevent threats from entering your network. Enterasys is based in Andover, MA in the Boston-metro area.

"BigMachines Lean Front End is the most flexible application we evaluated. The LFE gives us the greatest ability to support our business needs," said Benjamin Doyle, Director of IT Applications. "The LFE is also the best fit in terms of integrating into our existing application environment while ensuring ease of use for our employees and partners around the globe."

BigMachines CPP will be tightly integrated with Enterasys's Salesforce.com CRM system to provide a single view of customer data, in addition to automatically updating sales forecasts as quotes and orders are created and changed. Enterasys will also open the application to resellers to allow them to quickly and efficiently quote the Enterasys product line.

Godard Abel, CEO of BigMachines, stated, "We are delighted that Enterasys has selected BigMachines and will join our growing list of hi-tech customers. Their network security solutions demonstrate the need for robust global configuration, pricing, and quote management tools that can integrate with their CRM and ERP systems. These needs are a great fit for our capabilities, and we look forward to delivering a fast ROI to Enterasys."
