Certeon Extends Global Reach with Attrix Technology Partnership

Certeon, the industry's first vendor to provide Application Intelligent NetworkingT for significantly accelerating applications securely over wide area networks (WANs), today announces the addition of Attrix Technology to its Partner Acceleration Program. As a certified value-added reseller in the Asia-Pacific region, Attrix will leverage Certeon's S-SeriesT Appliances to deliver enterprise application acceleration and alleviate slow application response times caused by network bandwidth and latency issues.

Attrix has domain knowledge in design manufacturing and collaborative applications. The company chose the Certeon solution because of its unique application intelligence and end-to-end security approach. With knowledge of regional product design needs, as well as the Asia-Pacific manufacturing market, Attrix is able to accurately target end users of large UGS Solid EdgeT and other CAD applications within distributed Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments. Certeon's S-Series is pre-loaded with an Application Acceleration BlueprintT for Solid Edge, which contains specific knowledge of the application at the object level-allowing Certeon to speed response times for Attrix's Solid Edge users by more than 1,000 percent.

"Attrix's customers are dispersed across the globe and require rapid and secure access to applications such as Microsoft SharePoint and UGS Solid Edge," said Lee Chee Leong, general manager of Attrix Technology. "Before partnering with Certeon, we did not have a solution that increased network performance, application performance and security. We can now provide our customers with solutions that deliver high performance and security for their manufacturing, financial and insurance applications."

Certeon offers three models of Application Acceleration Appliances: the S-1000, S-2000 and S-3000, supporting small branch offices, regional offices and large data centers, respectively. In addition to the Solid Edge Blueprint, Certeon has Application Acceleration Blueprints for 2007 Microsoft® OfficeT, MOSS 2007, Microsoft File Services (CIFS), EMC® Documentum® and eRoom®, as well as SharePoint and Office 2003. Certeon's S-Series accelerates all WAN traffic including encrypted SSL traffic to ensure end-to-end data security and integrity.

"Our enterprise customers conduct business around the globe, and it's paramount that our sales channel reach extends globally as well," said Peter Dougherty, CEO Certeon. "Adding Attrix to our Partner Acceleration Program further solidifies our presence in the Asia-Pacific region. We look forward to working with Attrix to help its customers receive the benefits of secure Application Intelligent networking."
