AxSTREAMT Turbomachinery Optimization Software Poised for Strong Growth Worldwide

SoftInWay, Inc., a provider of advanced turbomachinery design software, and the creator of the AxSTREAMT Design and Optimization suite of programs, announced that Robert M. (Bob) Brown has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Brown is responsible for managing revenue generation and new market penetration worldwide.

"We are excited to have an experienced sales and marketing professional of Bob's caliber at SoftInWay," said SoftinWay President Dr. Leonid Moroz. "The company is poised to further expand our market penetration in the U.S., Asia and Europe, and we believe Bob is the right person to take us to the next level."

Before joining SoftInWay , Brown was VP Sales and Marketing for Business Strategies America, a marketing/sales services and consulting company focused on establishing new and alternative energy products and companies. Bob has over 25 years of experience within the turbomachinery industry. While at GE Aircraft Engines, he was responsible the launch and marketing programs for the LM6000 gas turbine, and he led the development of the U.S steam turbine rotor retrofit program at ALSTOM Power.

"When first introduced to AxSTREAM, I was truly impressed by its speed, versatility and ability to interface with the design programs currently in use by our customers," said Mr. Brown. "With AxSTREAM, engineers can now design turbine and compressor flow paths from the very beginning and not be constrained by having to work from an existing design."

Mr. Brown is also tasked to expand SoftinWay's engineering services business which provides consulting services in the areas of thermal and structural stress analysis and CFD modeling.
