Acquisition Strengthens AddNode's Position as a Leading Supplier of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Solutions in the Nordic Area
AddNode acquires SolidEngineer's SmarTeam business, which means that Addnode takes over 8 employees, business relations and customer contracts for the product ENOVIA SmarTeam.
The acquired business will be integrated in AddNode's subsidiary Technia. Technia's services include everything from business process review, change management, implementation to deployment, training, maintenance and support. Ericsson, GE Healthcare, Haglöfs, Marioff, Metso Paper, Mölnlycke Health Care, Nokia, Seco Tools och Sony Ericsson are some of the customers that are found on the Technia's customer list.
"In 2006 Technia started its ENOVIA SmarTeam business. The business contains sales of licenses, implementations and training. 8 more consultants with experience of the product ENOVIA SmarTeam will give Technia the opportunity to accelerate the expansion and Technia will be able to respond to the increasing demands for our products and services from small and midsize enterprises", says Hans Wolfhagen, President at Technia AB.
The purchase for SolidEngineer's SmarTeam business comprised a cash payment at takeover and a supplemental payment based on sales through June 30, 2008. The business is incorporated in AddNode as of August 15th 2007 and the acquisition is expected to have a positive effect on earnings in 2007.
