LMS Announces ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certification of New LMS Imagine Division

LMS announced that its new LMS Imagine Division has achieved the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification from the AFAQ-AFNOR Certification (Association Française pour l'Amélioration et le management de la Qualité - Association Française de Normalisation) for all of its French based operations. The ISO 9001:2000 certification recognizes that the quality management system of the new LMS Imagine Division conforms to the requirements set forth in the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

LMS created the new Division after the acquisition of IMAGINE, a leading provider of 1D multi-domain system simulation for intelligent mechanical and mechatronic systems. The LMS Imagine Division strategically extends the LMS solutions portfolio for functional performance simulation and physical testing, delivering a complete set of applications to model, simulate and test the real-life behavior of mechanical and mechatronic intelligent systems.

"The qualification for the ISO 9001:2000 represents an essential milestone for the LMS Imagine Division, as it confirms the formal deployment of methods to improve and measure customer satisfaction, and to meet our customers' expectations," commented Willy Bakkers, Vice-President and General Manager of the LMS CAE and Imagine Divisions. "This certification shows the commitment of our new LMS colleagues to constantly leverage their technical excellence, make products that deliver high customer value, and support our customers in the most effective way."

The certificate of the LMS Imagine division (previously Imagine SA) is available on the AFAQ web site: http://www.afaq.org/certification=289431176912 .
