Aspen Technology Announces Acquisition of Australian Channel Partner
Aspen Technology, Inc . announced its acquisition of Plant Solutions Pty, Ltd., AspenTech's alliance partner in Australasia (Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea).
"Plant Solutions has a great reputation for delivering high-value AspenTech solutions to our customers in the Australasia region comprised of AspenTech software and high quality services. This acquisition fits perfectly with our stated strategy of strengthening our presence in the important Asia-Pacific market," said Antonio Pietri, senior vice president and managing director, regional operations, Asia Pacific for AspenTech. "Our customers in the region have come to expect access to a wide range of AspenTech's software and a high level of technical expertise from Plant Solutions and we're confident this will only increase with the full integration of Plant Solutions into AspenTech."
Plant Solutions has been providing a wide range of software and professional services on behalf of AspenTech since its inception in April 2000. Services provided to AspenTech customers in the region include: process simulation and modeling, dynamic simulation, model deployment, performance management, heat exchanger network pinch analysis, distillation column targeting and consulting and implementation services.
