SoftInWay Appoints Kyokuto Boeki Kaisha, Ltd. To Distribute AxSTREAMT Flow Path Design Software in Japan

SoftInWay announced that it has strengthened its worldwide sales and distribution network by completing an agreement with Kyokuto Boeki Kaisha, Ltd. ( KBK ) to provide distribution of its AxSTREAMT Suite of Multi-disciplinary Design and Optimization software to the Japanese turbo-machinery industry.

"KBK has worked closely with major Japanese companies such as IHI, Toshiba and Mitsubishi for over 55 years," said Mr. Kazunobu Otake, Senior General Manager of KBK's Aerospace and Defense Systems Department. "They have said time and time again that they must achieve higher levels of efficiency in their designs. AxSTREAMT will help them greatly in accomplishing this prime objective."

"KBK has a strong record of success in supporting Japanese companies within the power generation, industrial process, auto, aerospace and defense sectors" stated Dr. Leonid Moroz, President of SoftInWay. "In distributing AxSTREAMT to the turbo-machinery community in Japan, KBK will truly be fulfilling their mission, Supplying the Required Technology to Those Who Need It."

KBK will also be distributing the axial and radial educational versions of AxSTREAMT to the engineering colleges and universities in Japan as they have a long standing reputation for incorporating state-of-the-art tools into their compressor and turbine design curriculums.

These educational versions allow students to learn design theory while actually creating designs using "real world" industry platforms.
