DP Technology to Feature ESPRIT Software at PTC User World

CAM industry leader DP Technology, creator of ESPRIT CAM software, will showcase the latest version of its product at PTC User World Event 2007, scheduled to take place in Tampa, Fla., June 3-6.

ESPRIT, to be featured at the event's booth No. 509, includes a variety of new and upgraded features, including enhancements and new functionalities for milling, turning and wire EDM programming.

With CAD to CAM interface, ESPRIT directly imports any native part model from any source, fully intact, with no need for programmers to edit or rebuild geometry. ESPRIT, which reads data from native formats - including PTC's Pro/ENGINEER software - allows for manufacturing flexibility with direct machining from any combination of geometries, be they solids, surfaces, wireframes or STL.

About ESPRIT

ESPRIT is a high-performance computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system for a full range of machine tool applications. ESPRIT delivers full-spectrum programming for 2-5 axis milling, 2-22 axis turning, 2-5 axis wire EDM, multitasking mill-turn machining, and B-axis machine tools.

ESPRIT's capabilities include machining any part geometry (solid, surface, or wireframe), universal post processing to format G-code for virtually any machine tool, and solid simulation and verification with dry runs rendered in dynamic solids for optimal part quality and consistency. ESPRIT is 100 percent pure Windows®, and provides a comfortable and familiar user interface for maximum productivity.
