ITI Announces Manager of Reliability Growth Consulting Business
International TechneGroup Incorporated ( ITI ) announced the appointment of Timothy Milburn to the position of Vice President, Reliability Consulting. In this role Mr. Milburn will be responsible for managing the sales and delivery of consulting services, training, and related enabling technologies.
"ITI has been active in the transfer of proven Reliability Growth planning, engineering and testing capabilities since the early 1990's," explained ITI Chief Executive Officer Mike Benzakein. "These Reliability Growth methods have allowed many major global companies of a wide variation in products, to achieve reliability targets upon market launch, for products with potentially high levels of new content and risk. By managing the level of reliability, end customer's expectations are met and repurchasing behavior enforced," continued Benzakein. "As part of advancing product quality in design and capabilities, the Reliability Group now intends to work with clients to rigorously apply proactive reliability, durability and availability assurance methods to identify and eliminate potential failures before physical prototyping; thereby assuring products largely meet Mean Time Between Failures and life goals before testing, to minimize testing investments while meeting product quality-in-use targets."
A 1976 graduate of the University of Illinois (BS Mechanical Engineering, BA Biology/Environmental Science), Mr. Milburn joined ITI in 2001 to manage relationships with major global organizations. This involved sales, customer relationship management, and contribution to the development and deployment of solutions including product development process re-engineering in client companies to reduce time to market and risk, and to improve productivity and product and process quality and reliability. This typically included converting customer needs into engineering targets, systems engineering and analysis led design, enhancing reliability, reducing client's product costs, improving collaboration and enhancing data interoperability.
