Dassault Systèmes' Opens German Office

Dassault Systèmes (DS) announced the opening of its new office in Stuttgart, Germany. Based at the heart of Germany's high-tech and manufacturing industries, the new main office of Dassault Systèmes in Germany reinforces DS' commitment to a market where the company's PLM brands are already highly successful.

"Our new base in Stuttgart will help us consolidate the PLM organization we have built in recent months in Germany and Switzerland," said Denis Senpéré, general manager, PLM North Europe, Dassault Systèmes. "We are committed to strongly supporting our indirect channel in the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) market, which holds very significant potential for PLM sales, and providing it with a growing role in years to come. Proximity to business partners and customers will allow us to tailor our offerings to meet specific local market demands. The same infrastructure will also help strengthen our presence with our large customers across the German-speaking countries."

Dassault Systèmes AG works with 26 PLM Business Partners and VARs to serve 6,000 customers across all industrial sectors. These business partners offer the PLM software and services that support industrial processes and provide a 3D vision of the entire life cycle of products from conception to maintenance.

With its broad knowledge of the local market, the Dassault Systèmes AG team will work closely with partners and customers to ensure the deployment of industry-specific solutions that reduce customers' product development cycles and cut time-to-market, thereby boosting productivity. DS identified Germany as a key market after the successful implementation of PLM in the German automotive and aerospace industries and their supply chains, and is now focusing on the fabrication and assembly (F&A) and consumer goods markets.

Martin Grunau will lead the German and Swiss PLM Channel Development team located in Stuttgart, in charge of the indirect sales of Dassault Systèmes' PLM portfolio of brands CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA and SMARTEAM.

In addition to its main office in Stuttgart, Dassault Systèmes AG has branches in Munich, Herne and Zürich.
