think3 Promotes Ciarloni to Chief Technology Officer

think3 announced the promotions of Roberto Ciarloni, to Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect, and Tania Campanelli to R&D Director. Ciarloni is located in Pesaro, and Campanelli works in the Bologna office. In his new position, Ciarloni will be responsible for leading product architecture innovation and evolution. Additionally, he will focus on managing the geometric modeling team and advocating think3 methodologies and approach. Ciarloni has over 20 years of experience in the CAD domain and a Degree in Engineering, University of Bologna. He has also been a professor of computer graphics at the University of Milan. Ciarloni's tenure with the company began in 1991, and he has held several key engineering positions over the past 15 years.

"At the same time, we must have a strong technical leader to advance the R&D organization in innovative industrial design and industrial machinery competitive positioning. Tania's long history with the company and her ability to introduce aggressive, new engineering approaches make her an extraordinary fit for this new assignment."

With a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Bologna, Campanelli has been with think3 for 14 years. With over 15 years of experience in CAD management and development, she will be responsible for the R&D organization in both Italy and its India team.

These organizational changes illustrate the knowledge, depth and expertise in think3's R&D organization, as the R&D team continues to develop new technology to improve and enhance existing products.
