Configuration Solutions and Infor Join Forces to Drive Value for Automotive Suppliers
Configuration Solutions, Inc., a provider of enterprise-wide product configuration and selling solutions-from quote to delivery-announced that it recently signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Infor .
Under the terms of the alliance, Infor will offer Configuration Solutions' Product/Program Lifecycle Management (PPLM) and CS-Automotive software solutions to automotive customers to complement Infor Manufacturing Essentials for Automotive. Configuration Solutions' CS-Automotive and PPLM software solutions are designed to automate product and process costing and estimating, facilitate the management of engineering changes, and streamline program and project management for automotive parts suppliers.
According to John Flavin, Infor's executive vice president and general manager for discrete business, "Infor is pleased to establish partner relationships with leaders and innovators in the industries we serve. Our alliance with Configuration Solutions will enable us to deliver maximum value to automotive suppliers with an integrated solution that can help them optimize revenue acquisition and ensure ongoing profitability." Infor currently serves more than half of the top 150 companies in the global automotive supply chain.
