Packaging System Innovator Saves Time, Increases Quality with RuleStream
RuleStream Corporation announced that Omega Design is using RuleStream to streamline engineering processes, increase accuracy and improve customer response time on its bottle handling machines.
Omega Design, a recognized innovator of high quality container handling and packaging equipment systems, supplies job change parts that are unique for each bottle to be handled. With engineering lead times taking 2-4 weeks and increasing the workload of their engineers, they turned to DesignPoint Solutions, a RuleStream reseller, who recommended a RuleStream-based solution to reduce engineering times and speed customer response.
Utilizing RuleStream's simple tools designed for the engineers to easily capture rules, DesignPoint was able to deliver a complete application in just 21 days. The RuleStream solution automates the routine design processes, reducing design time from weeks to minutes and allowing engineers at Omega Design to focus more of their time on engineering innovation. As a result of the RuleStream implementation, all the new designs are created based on a centralized set of rules, so they are more consistent and accurate. Customer response time has been dramatically improved.
