Sierra Atlantic and Agile Announce Seamless Integration of SCMnetT on SAP NetWeaver®
Agile Software Corporation announced that one of its systems integration and complementary solutions partners, Sierra Atlantic, has achieved "Powered by SAP NetWeaver®" certification for the latest version of its Supply Chain Management Network application, SCMnetT version 4.2. SCMnet, certified for integration capabilities with the mySAPT ERP solution via the CA-PLM integration scenario, integrates mySAP ERP with the latest version of Agile's PLM solution, Agile 9. SCMnet is now available for the SAP NetWeaver open integration and application platform to better serve the needs of customers using solutions from Agile and SAP. The "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification validates the seamless integration of SCMnet with SAP NetWeaver.

As part of the certification process, Sierra Atlantic enhanced SCMnet to take advantage of the powerful application and portal servers provided by SAP NetWeaver. SCMnet has achieved "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification by ensuring that the product deploys on the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) as a J2EE-compliant application and is integrated with the SAP NetWeaver Portal as a business package.
SCMnet's achievements of "SAP Certified Integration" (achieved earlier in 2005) and "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification mean that customers running SAP NetWeaver have a reliable integration solution that:
