3DVision Technologies Marks 10 Years of Success as SolidWorks Value-Added Reseller
3DVision Technologies Corp. announced its 10-year anniversary as a value-added reseller (VAR) of SolidWorks® software. The company was founded in Cincinnati, OH, in November of 1995; the same month SolidWorks Corp. released the first version of SolidWorks 3D mechanical design software.
Following along with the market success of SolidWorks software, the company over the years has expanded by opening offices in Louisville, KY, in 1998, Columbus, OH, in 2000, Dayton, OH, in 2002, Cleveland, OH, in 2003, and Evansville and Indianapolis, IN, Lexington, KY, and Toledo, OH, in 2005.
Today the company's nine training and support facilities serve over 1,000 customers representing every industry. For the past two years, 3DVision Technologies has been named one of the Tri-State area's 50 fastest growing companies for 2004 by the Cincinnati Business Courier. The Fast 50 is made up of the Tri-State's 50 fastest-growing companies that demonstrate the highest three-year growth rate in revenues based on Courier research.
"I'm very happy with the success we've had over the past decade, but looking forward I would like to see the company become the market leader for SolidWorks sales in the Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky regions," says Todd Majeski, president of 3DVision Technologies. "I believe the next 10 years will bring the largest growth opportunities for our customers as they increase their use of design validation tools. We've seen our CAE division double in growth over the past two years and we will continue to bolster our technical staff to meet the needs of our customers in those areas."
