UGS Provides New Digital Manufacturing Solution for the Greater China Market to Boost Manufacturers' Productivity, Lower Operation Costs and Facilitate Regulatory Compliance
UGS Corp. announced its commitment to the Greater China digital manufacturing market with the local launch of TecnomatixT Version 7 software for Electronics that enables customers to optimize manufacturing performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
To support Greater China's global manufacturing leadership, UGS serves the local market through digital manufacturing competency teams in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Taiwan. UGS has also expanded its Shanghai-based development organization to focus on regional localization and platform support.
UGS worked closely with key customers in Greater China to ensure its release met critical business requirements for the market, particularly in regulatory compliance, by extending the solution's ability to capture and trace virtually every manufacturing event from component level to final product shipment.
