Spescom Releases eB Suite 14.3.1
Spescom Software, Inc, has released the latest version of its flagship product, eB Suite 14.3.1.
New and enhanced features include 24/7 reliability through automated fail over of servers; increased performance for high-volume bulk loading and import of data; and distributed vaulting to support disaster recovery and global content storage. The release also adds built-in health reporting and performance monitoring.
eB version 14.3.1 is based on the latest Microsoft and Internet technologies, and features an open architecture. It can be accessed and extended through Web Services, MS Visual Studio, and ASP.NET using the eB Application Developer SDK.
Several large enterprise customers, including Constellation Energy, participated in beta testing and are planning to implement the official release. As an early adopter, Constellation Energy obtained FCS (First Customer Ship) versions, which helped it incorporate some of the new features and enhancements into its project rollout schedules.
Constellation Energy is currently in the migration process of several million documents from a legacy system at its Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant. It has already taken advantage of the increased throughput rates of up to 42,000 documents per hour offered by eB version 14.3.1.
Alan Kiraly, vice president of Spescom product development said, "eB 14.3.1 demonstrates Spescom's leadership position and its ability to apply state-of-the-art technologies to solve real-world customer problems. Working closely with our customers and technology providers like Microsoft, we can provide enterprise-class solutions without the complexity and cost of traditional systems."
As a customer-driven organization, Spescom has worked closely with it customers to recognize new features and enhancements that help businesses compete in a dynamic and competitive world. Spescom's customer awareness program is the cornerstone for transposing customer knowledge into the eB product. This results in increased efficiencies for human performance, reliability, security, safety and the data quality processes.
Spescom Software's CEO, Keith Stentiford, added, "We all excited about the future of eB. Along with the release, there are many new initiatives underway that will continue to differentiate us from our competition and make us a high-value partner for our customers. Spescom's ability to quickly deliver solutions for dynamic, regulated and complex applications demonstrates that we offer the best architecture available for meeting our customer needs."
