Theorem's Latest Translators Match CATIA V5 Development

CAD data exchange specialist Theorem Solutions continues to match latest market requirements with the upgrading of its CADverter product suite to provide bi-directional translation between CATIA V5's newly-introduced Revision 16 and other leading CAD and visualization systems.

Available immediately, the new versions of Theorem's CADverter offer fast and accurate translation of CAD data between CATIA V5 R16 and Unigraphics NX2 and NX3; I-DEAS 10, 11 and 12; Pro/Engineer; Parasolid; CADDS 5 and 4X; ICEM; as well as ProductView and JT visualization formats.

Theorem's commitment to keep pace with the latest releases of all leading CAD systems is based on its use of application development utilities provided and supported by the design systems vendors themselves. This not only ensures parallel development of new CADverter products, but also close compatibility with fast-evolving and increasingly capable CAD systems, in this case CATIA V5 R16.

The latest CADverter products will be freely available to existing Theorem customers with a current maintenance agreement, as well as to all new customers. They will also be made available to other Theorem users by special agreement.

Announcing the new series of CADverters for CATIA V5 R16, Theorem's General Manager, Keith Jeacock said: "We are delighted to be shipping these translators to our customers so soon after the release of the new revision of CATIA. Our extensive pre-release testing confirms that migration to the latest CADverters will be accomplished by users very easily."
