Omnify Software Announces Three New Product Lifecycle Management Customers in Texas; Company Gains Momentum in the Lone Star State
Omnify Software announced three new customers, all based in Texas. Innova Electronics, Motion Computing and NovusEdge, have selected Omnify Software's PLM solution.
The Omnify Software product lifecycle management (PLM) system offers customers a complete solution for managing product data in a single, secure location. Omnify's web-based technology allows product data to be shared over a secure connection with all members of the design and manufacturing teams, as well as across the extended enterprise. Omnify PLM is ideal for small and mid-size companies since the system is quick to deploy, easy to use and requires minimal maintenance. Omnify PLM is also built on an open-architecture platform allowing for bi-directional integration with Engineering (CAD/CAE) and Business (ERP, MRP, CRM) systems, and will not interrupt existing environments.
Omnify continues to gain sales momentum in Texas, and adds three new customers in this region. Innova Electronics, located in Houston, is a contract manufacturer specializing in the building of extreme environment electronics, hazardous area computers and sunlight viewable LCD monitors. Austin-based Motion Computing produces slate tablet PCs for mobile professionals in vertical industries including healthcare, field sales and service, government and education. NovusEdge, also located in Austin, is a provides IP-enabled physical access control and asset protection whose solutions enable organizations to be constantly aware of-and in control of-what is happening at the edge of their networks.
"We decided on Omnify PLM a year ago to integrate our design development and contract manufacturing product management with our ERP system," stated Charlie McAndrew, VP Engineering, Innova Electronics LP. "While Omnify is easy to use, the checks and balances in the system have reduced our costs by eliminating duplicate commercial parts inventory, speeding up the documentation process, and providing clear and traceable revision controls and approvals which our ISO auditor loves. Support from Omnify has been exemplary. I consider our choice of Omnify to have been beneficial to our product integrity and quality, and to our overall efficiency."
"We are excited about the recent growth Omnify Software has gained in Texas," stated Chuck Cimalore, CTO for Omnify Software. "Manufacturers in every region are seeing the importance and need for a comprehensive and affordable PLM system and are looking to Omnify Software for a solution."
"Motion significantly expanded its services and products in 2005, so our move to Omnify Software was important to support that growth," said John Doherty, Motion Computing's Vice President of Advanced Product Development. "We work with multiple suppliers and service providers and we needed a more sophisticated way to handle our increased documentation processes. Omnify's product lifecycle management system helps us better manage automated change approval and tracking with an efficient and flexible tool."
