CAD Schroer Wins PTC® "European Software Partner of the Year" Award
CAD Schroer GmbH (CSG), the global engineering solutions provider whose STHENO/PROT drafting plug-in for Pro/ENGINEER® has enthused engineers at PTC/USER events throughout the world, was recently awarded the "European Software Partner of the Year 2005". CAD Schroer GmbH is a PTC Gold tier Software Partner.
On October 25, 2005, PTC recognized the long-standing, committed relationship between the two companies in a ceremony on the last day of PTC/USER in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Brian Shepherd, PTC's Senior Vice President for Product Management, awarded the official plaque to Detlev Kohley, CSG's Sales Department Manager.
CSG, which this year opened new subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and France, has been a PTC software partner since 1998. The company has spent years co-developing products with PTC, and was praised for its commitment to providing solutions that work hand-in-glove with Pro/ENGINEER, Windchill® and Pro/INTRALINK®.
CSG has been showcasing its drafting plug-in for Pro/ENGINEER at PTC/USER events in the United States, Europe, and Japan. STHENO/PRO offers PTC customers demonstrable rewards, significantly broadening design options.
In addition to bi-directional data exchange, and the ability to work interoperably in real time with Pro/ENGINEER, STHENO/PRO delivers advanced data management support for Pro/INTRALINK and Windchill, including storage of design attributes, parts and title block information. Easy import and export of customer and supplier data is further augmented by the STHENO/IMAGET raster module-invaluable for integrating raster backdrops and reviving legacy 2D data.
