ASCENT Launches First Autodesk Civil 3D Courseware Title

RAND Worldwide, announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, ASCENT - Center for Technical Knowledge®, has launched its first Autodesk Civil 3D courseware title as a part of its comprehensive Autodesk courseware offerings.

ASCENT's Civil 3D course enables users to use the application to create relationships between objects within a file for automatic project design change updates as modifications to plans occur. The class delivers the tools that users will need in order to work with Civil 3D effectively, covering a broad range of topics such as points and point groups; surface creation, editing, and analysis; assemblies, corridors, and section views; parcel creation and annotation; pipe networks, and grading.

"This new title release is a natural extension to ASCENT's existing Autodesk courseware line up," said Joe Oswald, Executive Vice President, RAND Worldwide. "Through a unified drafting and design environment, our Civil 3D courseware will enable designers and engineers to streamline their design processes to further enhance productivity and ultimately save time and money."

ASCENT is an Authorized Author, Publisher, and Developer of Autodesk courseware and has broad range of Autodesk courseware available. The company's complete courseware line-up for Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, and PTC based software solutions can be seen at http://www.ASCENTed.com/courseware.htm .
