Valor Europe Announces Results of Annual Satisfaction Survey:85% of Participants Experience Improvement in Quality of PCBs

Valor Computerized Systems announced the results of its most recent customer satisfaction survey, administered among its European customers. The survey showed high levels of customer satisfaction in the second half of 2004 and first half of 2005, with close to 65% of respondents being highly satisfied with Valor's solutions and services.

The survey was held as part of Valor's commitment to ongoing improvement in the quality of its services, and included all European customers who have already implemented one of Valor's DFM and Assembly Line Engineering solutions at the time of the survey.

Respondents - both engineers and production managers - were asked about their satisfaction with each aspect of the Valor solution that they use, and their satisfaction with Valor's customer service. They were also asked to make suggestions for improvement. The response rate was close to 50%. The following business benefits were cited as directly related to implementation of Valor's solutions:

- Between 60% and 65% of participants indicated that they have experienced improved productivity as a result of using Valor's solutions.

- Close to 85% of respondents experienced improvement in the quality of their PCBs.

- Close to 85% of respondents experienced improvement in their DFM process.

- 85% of participants indicated improved time-to-market, decreased revision cycles, and improved supply chain communications as a result of using Valor' solutions.

- 55% of participants experienced improvement in their supply chain communications and CAD-to-COM transfer.

In terms of satisfaction, close to 70% of respondents indicated that they are satisfied or extremely satisfied with Valor's support level, documentation and website, and an average of 60% showed satisfaction with the VPL - Valor's Part Library service. "The results of this survey confirm Valor's commitment to deliver the finest customer experience", said David Bengal, President of Valor Europe. "Having 85% of our customers experience improved PCB quality is particularly impressive in an industry and a time where customers are becoming more demanding than ever. We intend to use these results as a basis for continuous improvement year after year", he concluded.
