Dassault Systèmes and Gesab Establish Education Partnership

Dassault Systèmes (DS) announced an education partnership with Gesab, a supplier of education and technical services to the Swedish engineering industry. Through this partnership, DS extends its Education Partner Program (EPP) network and reinforces the use of best practices in operating PLM in the Swedish industry.

The Education Partner network, which is the only source for the official DS solutions education materials and methodologies, was formed by Dassault Systèmes to help customers derive optimal benefits from their PLM environment. Education solutions, developed by DS, provide the best opportunity for PLM users to improve individual and company' performance. The EPP network is a diverse community of 133 independent companies with more than 450 classrooms and 1100 instructors in 36 countries.

"As a recognized Services Company in the design environment, Gesab is a key player in consolidating the DS Education offering in Sweden," said Didier Gaillard, Channel Development Director for Sweden, PLM Europe, Dassault Systèmes. " For our shared customers in automotive, aerospace, domestic appliance and telecom industries this partnership creates substantial opportunities for a greater PLM efficiency through a recognized process of improving and certifying skills."

"We are one of the Swedish market's leading companies in employee competence development. As a knowledge company it is important to be able to offer superior services. That's why we have decided to join Dassault Systèmes' Education Partner Program," said Janos Rakai, CEO, Gesab. "Key factors in our decision were the up-to-date and high-quality training materials-both customized and off-the-shelf courses thanks to Companion Solutions-and the possibility for our customers to have a certification exam promoting their knowledge in the Dassault Systèmes' ecosystem. The Education Partner Program fully meets our expectations in terms of quality and end-to-end service coverage. Our objective is to apply for the Certified Education Partner (CEP) Level, the highest qualification that can be reached by an Education Partner."
