Spescom Software Appoints Glenn Cox as VP Sales and Marketing
Spescom Software Inc announced that Mr. Glenn Cox has been appointed as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the company effective October 10th, 2005.
Mr. Cox has been with the company for over nine years holding various positions including those of Vice President Customer Care, Vice President Professional Services and Vice President Business Development.
"The appointment of Glenn Cox as Vice President of Sales and Marketing is based on his extensive business experience and knowledge of complex information management solutions, his in-depth understanding of the Spescom product suite and proven success of selling and developing alliances in the strategic markets critical to Spescom's future growth," commented Keith Stentiford, CEO, Spescom Software.
Prior to joining Spescom Mr. Cox spent 15 years with Northeast Utilities where he participated in many facets of the organization including the nuclear, fossil, transmission, distribution and customer service areas. During his tenor at NU, Mr. Cox held various management positions, influenced strategic team decisions, and participated in a number of successful high impact enterprise projects.
Mr. Cox will assume marketing responsibilities from Dr. Johann Leitner, who has resigned as Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Officer of the Company but continues to provide marketing and strategic services as a consultant.
