IFS Announces New Maximum Overall Equipment Effectiveness Solution
With SCA Graphic Sundsvall AB and a customer reference group from the asset-intensive industries, IFS has developed MaxOEET, a real-time solution for strategic control and analysis of production output.
"Our industry needed a real-time solution that improved user productivity and that, as a result, had a positive impact on a company's bottom line," said Christer Bystrom, system owner at SCA Graphics. "We worked closely with IFS to develop this solution with the goal of significantly reducing our production down time. We believe MaxOEE's extremely flexible user interface is key to improved user productivity for asset-intensive organizations such as ours."

Using the seamless capture of real-time production data to build a knowledge database, MaxOEE gives companies the real-time knowledge they require to drive informed decisions regarding plant investments, strategic workforce management, and enterprise asset management.
Drawing on the latest human-computer interaction (HCI) research, the MaxOEE application uses a combination of innovative visualization techniques and modern technology to deliver outstanding user productivity. Visualization technologies such as time lines and tree maps provide an overview of vast of amounts of information, allowing users to discover patterns and gain in-depth insight from what would otherwise be lists of hundreds of thousands of records. MaxOEE uses the latest web-deployed smart client technology to deliver the application over the web in a secure, zero-install manner.
