TSA Adds New Custom Software Development Services Arm

Tech Soft America (TSA), a provider of graphics components to the CAD/CAM/CAE software industry, now offers custom development services to assist with, or perform outright, the development of applications using TSA components.

TSA provides component technologies in the areas of graphics, modeling and file format import/export. These high-level components help ISVs build high-performance and feature-rich products significantly faster than they could on their own. TSA's new contract services arm will further speed development by making experienced developers available to ISVs to bring new products to market even more rapidly.

Ron Fritz, managing partner for TSA, noted, "Since our inception in 1996 we have focused entirely on making it easier for engineering ISVs to bring quality products to market. We've frequently seen that a lack of development bandwidth slows or even cripples companies' efforts to get products out and exploit market opportunities. And the market has never been more competitive than it is now. By providing developers who are experienced with our component technologies we can help our customers be even more competitive by further accelerating their development process, TSA is taking another key step toward helping our customers turn their product specification into a product release."

TSA delivers software components that simplify the design, development and maintenance of high-performance, interactive 2D and 3D applications. The company's flagship HOOPS technology has been incorporated into over 175 commercial software applications, including many of the leaders in CAD/CAM and CAE software. Other components licensed by TSA include the Adobe PDF Library SDK, 3D InterOP Translators from Spatial and the Parasolid Kernel Modeler from UGS. The company maintains corporate headquarters in Oakland, California and can be reached through http://www.hoops3d.com .
