SEAL Systems Introduces Three Solutions at CAT.PRO
CAT.PRO in Stuttgart, Germany is where new innovative product developments are introduced. SEAL Systems will demonstrate its new solutions from October 4 to 10 in hall 4.0.125.
Standard compatible PDF
PDF Longlife is a tool kit for checking and the correction of PDF files for PDF/A standard compatibility. PDF/A is a PDF standard definition that supports the long term usage of PDF as a storage format. During the creation process, there are certain minimum standards to be considered, whereas some PDF functions should be avoided. With the PDF Longlife Suite, SEAL Systems has developed a tool kit for creating, checking and correcting PDF data based on PDF standard compatibility. Besides the PDF/A standard, also adjustable company standards can be supported. Integrations to conversion and check-in processes for many DMS, PDM and PLM systems complete the offer.
Automatic document creation
With the new Direct Publishing solution, documentation and manuals can be generated and distributed electronically or as print. Direct Publishing means: generation of a complete document directly from the DMS or PLM system. Document structures are generated based on lists of parts.
The publishing process from SEAL Systems compiles these single documents to a total document with contents, page numbers and other layout elements. There are additional functions for print options and CD equitable partition into part documents. The processes are implemented with the new DPF technology (Digital Process Factory®) from SEAL Systems: Elementary process steps are configured by using single Working Units and built together to modifiable entire process chains.
SAP Records Management completed
With SAP Records Management, records, processes and methods can be represented and structured. The Extension Suite for SAP Records Management provides useful additional functions for conversion, output and process integration. Among the highlights are conversion and print services based on the BC-XDC interface. This suite is SAP NetWeaver® certified. Standard methods for automatic filling of records from older records or other SAP transactions and Office integrations are also part of the Extension Suite.
