Agile Appoints New President of Agile Software K.K.

Agile Software Corporation announced that Tadashi Murakami has been appointed president of Agile Software K.K. (ASKK), Agile's Japanese subsidiary. Murakami brings over twenty years of experience and expertise in enterprise software sales and operations management to ASKK. In his new role, Murakami will be responsible for ASKK's growth, revenue and customer success, including strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution for the region.

"Japan is one of Agile's most strategic markets, and is also home to some of our most important customers," said James Aufdemberge, senior vice president, international operations. "Our customers, partners and employees will all benefit from Murakami's formidable skills, leadership, experience and vision."

Murakami joins ASKK from IBM Japan, where he was the executive responsible for information integration solutions. At Murakami's previous company, Ascential Software K.K., Murakami was country manager and representative director, and was responsible for all revenue, customer service, and business development activities. Prior to his role at Ascential Software, Murakami held leadership roles at Interwoven Japan, a provider of web content management and content management systems, and PTC Japan, a provider of CAD/CAM solutions. Murakami is a graduate of Nihon University in Japan.
