Big Data: It's everywhere and increasingly critical to businesses and consumers around the world. Some create it, some store it, and some analyze it. Inphi moves big data - fast, in the long haul market, metro market, and data center. We are the corollary to those who move physical data; we are the FedEx™ of digital data. Inphi designs and manufactures high-speed, mixed signal semiconductor components for the optical, networking, and memory interconnect platforms.

Inphi uses Product Lifecycle Management software to manage traditional PLM functions like new product development, bill of materials, and document management. However, Inphi has gone beyond the traditional application and uses PLM to manage a wide variety of non-traditional processes including legal and contract management, asset and equipment management, quality management (integrated with salesforce.com), supplier management, training, and much more.

During this presentation you will get insight into why Inphi chose to adopt a company-wide PLM solution and the benefits gained by this approach. Examples of some of existing workspaces will be demonstrated and future plans will be discussed.
